The gesture of the company sends a powerful message to the world that the world of luxury and sports are not made up individuals who dwell in the ivory tower. They are concerned about the unprivileged and ready to lend a helping hand. This philanthropic side of  IWC has generated greater  interest in the watch company as increasing number of celebrities now involve in social issues.
