Frank
Muller entered the tough world of luxury watches only recently. The company was
in operation only for two decades. However, in this short period it became a
well known name in the challenging world of high-end horology. Muller’s child
hood was spent in dismantling any watch that he came across and assembling in
them. This was a kind of informal apprenticeship in which he tutored himself on
the principles of time. As he advanced in age he started as restorer of
watches. Soon he started creating his own designs. By 1992, he had 19 world
premiers and had requested for four patents
In
certain aspects Frank Muller is a unique. One of them is the willingness to be
responsible for each of his watch creations. Each movement whether simple or
complicated was designed by him. The Muller collection has many famous users.
Elton John, the great singer and Robin Williams the great comedian loved to
show off their Franck Muller collection. The intrinsic goodness of these
watches was advertised by many celebrity users and in the world of luxury
watches.
Frank
Muller considered himself, The Master
of Complications. The patrons of these watches soon realized that the
statement was not arrogance but the truth about the great watch maker. There
have been many notable watches by this great maestro. One of them is Chronograph. This is an elegant watch made of
stainless steel and has a Japanese automatic movement. It has a white dial with
three sub-dials one for day and night the other two for seconds and date. It is
fitted with fine steel bracelet. The mineral crystal glass resists scratches
very well. Naturally people went after this great watch.
Franck
Muller Color Dreams is very bold and original. It has a pearl dial with a
stainless steel bracelet. The numbers are bold and large and displayed in fine
colors. It looks more like jewelry than a watch. The play of colors exhibited
by these watches is arranged in such way that the elegance of a great and
mellowed watch is the result. Conquistador
Cortez King is a clever watch
that shows a rare craftsmanship. They are available in different colors. The
strap choices are both crocodile leather as well as hand stitched white or
black rubber strap. There are other great models like Casablanca and Geneva .
